About the Role:

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will work within a dedicated department to foster a love of literature, language, and communication, ensuring all students have the opportunity to succeed academically and personally.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons that engage and challenge students

· Assess and monitor student progress to ensure academic growth

· Contribute to the development of the English curriculum and departmental activities

· Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them reach their full potential

· Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect

· Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities

The Ideal Candidate:

· A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)

· Passionate about English literature and language

· Excellent communication and organisational skills

· Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities

· A team player with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement

· Experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is preferred
