We are looking for an immediately available Intermediate QS to provide services to one of our Chemical Manufacturing Clients in Teesside.
Pre-event
* Subcontractor engagement to ensure Purchase orders are in place for all contractors prior to attending site
* Develop a Change management process for cost control
* Ensure names of individuals for each contract company are known in advance and all trg certification obtained and passed to stakeholders
* Invoices – verification of versus timesheets
* Verification of third party contractor Payment applications
* Weekly Daywork sheets collation and cross checking for contact organisations
* Monitor KPI’s alongside Contractor
* Prepare registers to track third party costs, hired equipment, subcontracts etc.
* Monitor cost estimates for Project / TAR costs
* Help produce weekly reports to monitor costs.
During Event / Project Execution
* Ensure all costs associated with TAR execution are captured within the cost estimate
* Provide detailed cost reports so that committed and forecast expenditure can be effectively controlled against budget.
* Provide analysis of variations from pre-event estimates.
* Ensure emergent work costs are monitored and reported
* Monitor relevant cost information to enable a final cost report to be produced
* Issue final cost report
* Record spend against budget costs (PPE, tooling, consumables etc.)
Post Event / Post Project
* Monitor costs beyond the event to ensure all costs are correctly allocated.
* Alongside customer & contractor agree final KPI performance & pain/gain position if applicable
* Produce final total cost report.
* Produce a report of the effectiveness of the cost management process and opportunities for improvement
