The Role

Location: Secondary schools across South Birmingham (Yardley, Solihull, Moseley, Kings Heath, etc.)

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: Flexible (full-time or part-time)

Key Requirement: Be prepared for early morning cover calls

Key Responsibilities

Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring students remain on task and follow the lesson plan provided.

Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive and productive learning environment.

Support students in completing their work and address any questions where possible.

Maintain a professional and confident presence in front of secondary school pupils.

Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a smooth running of the school day.

Requirements

Experience working in UK schools (essential).

Confidence managing a classroom of secondary school pupils.

Strong communication and organisational skills.

A flexible approach to work and availability for early morning cover calls.

A passion for supporting young people and contributing to their education.
