Year 5 Class Teacher

Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Year 5 Teacher ready to make a difference? We are working with a friendly, community-focused two-form entry primary school in Brent that is looking for a confident and capable teacher to join their team as soon as possible.

About the Role

* Position: Year 5 Class Teacher

* Location: Brent, Willesden

* Start Date: ASAP

* Salary: £180 - £220 per day (based on experience and qualifications)

* Responsibilities:

* Delivering pre-planned lessons for a Year 5 class, ensuring engaging and high-quality teaching that meets the KS2 curriculum.

* Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to support individual development.

* Managing classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a productive and inclusive environment.

* Working collaboratively with the other Year 5 teacher as part of a two-form entry system.

* Participating in school-wide activities, parent communication, and ongoing professional development.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

* A solid understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and proven experience teaching at this level.

* Strong behaviour management skills to maintain a productive classroom environment.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

* A valid enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
