Inspector – Contract (24 Months)

Location: Gt Yarmouth

Rate: £350-£400pd

Role responsibilities:

Manufacturing focal point as the high-level technical expert, liaising with the suppliers on location (extensive European travel will be involved).

Review and approve supplier manufacturing documentation, ensuring all aspects meet the criteria set out in the standards.

Manage and assess specification for welding and inspection. Managing and maintaining inspection test plans at every stage.

Deliver regular accurate, detailed, and concise technical reports in line with company procedures.

Populate manufacturing inspection test plans.

Attend weekly review meetings, providing schedule updates.

Populate FAT/SIT procedures and oversee testing of components.

Populate post testing inspection procedures and review/approve supplied test inspection reports.

Populate manufacturing record books and liase with the QA team. 

Essential Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

CSWIP 3.1 or 3.2

Metallurgy qualification (degree level or equivalent) and experience with high grade alloy materials.

Documented (can provide examples of) Knowledge and experience with forging manufacturing processes.
