Job Description

My client is looking for a Waste Management Operative to join them on a temporary Basis initially until May. In this role, you will operate a range of plant and equipment, including loading shovels, telehandlers, and balers, to manage waste and ensure smooth site operations.

Location: Based at Loughborough and Bardon
Pay Rate: £13.75ph

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate plant and equipment to load/unload and manage waste on site.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with site safety procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe, and efficient work environments.
• Assist in delivering a high-quality service to site users.
• Support new team members and identify opportunities to improve processes.
• Engage with internal and external users to foster positive relationships.
• Comply with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Requirements:

• Must have load shovel and plant ticket experience.
• Ability to operate various equipment (training provided for specific machines).
• Good communication skills and a strong team player.
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays when required.
• Willingness to work across different locations in Leicestershire.

40 hours per week working shifts between (Apply online only)hrs working 5 out of 7 days.
