Job Advert: Commercial Electricical

Location: Workington

Position: Commercial Electrician Sub-Subcontractor

Type: Self-employed, Contract Work

Snowdon Recruitment are looking for experienced Commercial Electrical Sub-contractors to work on a range of high-profile commercial projects across site in Cumbria.

Responsibilities:

* Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial sites.

* Ensuring all electrical work is completed to the highest safety standards and in compliance with UK regulations

* Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and plans

* Conducting inspections and troubleshooting electrical faults

* Coordinating with the main contractor to meet project deadlines

* Working independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently

Requirements:

* Full electrical qualifications (Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent)

* JIB Gold Card

* Previous experience in commercial electrical work

* Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols

* Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and schematics

* Own tools and PPE

* Must be self-employed and capable of managing your own workload

* Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with other trades

* Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
