Job Description

Carmichaels are seeking a Sub Agent to work on a Tier 1 Highways Project in Cambridgeshire.

The successful candidate will have experience with road works including streetlighting/CCTV and motorway comms.

Responsibilities will include:

Managing the construction of a section of works

Review designs and raise technical queries to the design teams.

Ensure your team keeps an accurate and detailed site record for all works

Ensure you and your engineers raise requisitions for plant and materials in a timely and accurate manor.

Ensure quality records are captured and stored correctly.

Generate Non-Conformance Records and ensure these are promptly closed out.

Qualifications required:

Degree level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HND in Civil Engineering and vocational training in Engineering.

Knowledge and understanding of engineering principles and common construction methodologies.

Formal training in Health & Safety and Environmental management (SMSTS)

Relevant CSCS Card

Full UK driving licence is required for our highways projects
