We are on the lookout for Experienced Animal Technicians in the Milton Keynes area. Key Responsibilities:

* Perform routine husbandry duties, including feeding, cleaning, watering, and ensuring the welfare of the animals are in line with Home Office and GMP regulations

* Conduct health checks and room checks

* Perform Paracox QC testing (oocyst counts) following SOPs and GMP compliance

* Assist with regulated procedures when required

* Be responsible for cleaning rooms and workspaces

* Raising of deviations in the Quality Management System and completion of

* non-investigative records

What we are looking for:

* Previous experience working in a research facility with rodents

* Experience in animal husbandry and competent in health checks

* Ability to identify deviations and raise events in the Quality Management System

* Home Office License (preferred)

* Knowledge of Animals Scientific Procedures Act 1986

This opportunity is a 12-month contract with potential to move to a permanent position.
