Job Description

Our client in Royston are looking for a hands-on Production Supervisor to take on the responsibility of ensuring the production plan is implemented and on track, whilst overseeing 4 team leaders.

Working hours Monday Thursday 7am 5pm and Friday 7am 10am

Production Supervisor - Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise 4 team leaders
• Ensure machines are ready for production every morning
• Report into planning throughout the day on progress
• Maintain excellent health and safety standards in all production areas
• Responsible for quality control across production
• Support Operations Manager ensuring the team meets their targets
• Help identify and implement productivity improvements

Production Supervisor - Skills and Experience required:

• Experience leading a team
• High energy, proactive and hungry attitude
• Experience within a Production/Manufacturing environment
• Qualifications in Lean Manufacturing (or experience implementing)
• Strong Maths skills
• Fabrication experience is advantageous
