TeamJobs are currently recruiting for an Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to work on site in Yeovil.

The role involves creating and running programs to prevent accidents, address Health and Safety risks, and ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) regulations and company policies.

The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping employees safe and maintaining the quality of our aerospace products. Their work will help the company follow industry rules, reduce risks, and ensure safe, high-quality operations.

What You'll Be Doing
Develop and implement comprehensive HS&E strategies and programs to ensure a safe
and compliant work environment within the Aerospace business unit.
Conduct Risk Assessments and Safety Audits to identify potential hazards and implement
preventive measures.
Investigate incidents and near-misses, identify root causes and implement corrective
actions to prevent recurrence.
Ensure strict compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations,
permits, and certifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver Safety Training Programs.

What We're Looking For
Experience in Health, Safety & Environmental processes.
Health, Safety & Environmental regulations and best practices knowledge.
Communication skills.
Experience in a manufacturing or related environment
Preferred: IOSH or NEBOSH Qualifications

PC literate
Ability to read and follow instructions
The Applicant should be able to display essential skills in the adherence to Health &
Safety standards at all times, teamwork, flexibility and the ability to use initiative
Continuous Improvement
Any further training requirements will be provided:- PC skills (incl. Company Operating
Systems), Manual Handling, 5S, HOS Principles and general Health & Safety

Work-Life Balance: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: 18.88 per hour
