Job Advert: Commercial Electricical

Location: Workington
Position: Commercial Electrician Sub-Subcontractor
Type: Self-employed, Contract Work

Snowdon Recruitment are looking for experienced Commercial Electrical Sub-contractors to work on a range of high-profile commercial projects across site in Cumbria.

Responsibilities:

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial sites.
• Ensuring all electrical work is completed to the highest safety standards and in compliance with UK regulations
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and plans
• Conducting inspections and troubleshooting electrical faults
• Coordinating with the main contractor to meet project deadlines
• Working independently or as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently

Requirements:

• Full electrical qualifications (Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent)
• JIB Gold Card
• Previous experience in commercial electrical work
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety protocols
• Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and schematics
• Own tools and PPE
• Must be self-employed and capable of managing your own workload
• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with other trades
• Excellent work ethic and attention to detail
