Job Advert: Teaching Assistant (Key Stage 1)

Location: South Liverpool

Contract Type: Full-Time

On behalf of a primary school in South Liverpool, Tradewind are seeking a reliable and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work within our Key Stage 1 team. If you are an enthusiastic and confident individual who is passionate about supporting children's education this is the perfect role to make a difference in student's lives!

Experience working with children is necessary for the role and Education related qualifications are desired but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing the classroom.

Work with small groups or individual pupils to provide additional support.

Assist with planning and preparing resources for lessons.

Monitor and promote the progress and development of pupils.

Help maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience working with children (essential).

A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach to working with young children.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

A relevant qualification in childcare or education (desirable).
