Day rate: Up to 210 a day

Type: Freelance (Potential to go Permanent)

About the Role

As a Structural Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to:

• Collaborate with our design team to provide innovative, cost-effective, and practical solutions for ongoing projects.
• Support the construction department with expert advice and technical designs to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Offer engineering services externally, working directly with clients and stakeholders to enhance project outcomes.

This role is freelance to start, offering flexibility and autonomy. For the right candidate, there is potential to transition to a permanent position.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Structural Engineer in the design and build environment.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and commercial construction projects.
• Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team.
• Based in or willing to commute to Brighton.
