Job Title: Project Manager (Highways)

Location: Sizewell Nuclear Plant, Woodbridge, Suffolk (Onsite, 5 days per week)

Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)

Rate: £45 per hour (inside IR35)

Hours per week: 40 hours

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We are seeking a Project Manager with extensive highway experience to join the Sizewell C nuclear project in Suffolk. This major infrastructure initiative plays a key role in the UK?s transition to a low-carbon economy.

You will oversee highway schemes, including S278 works, traffic management, and utility coordination, while managing the project scope, budget, and risks in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and manage project scope and interfaces.

Develop and monitor the project programme and budget.

Identify and mitigate project risks.

Coordinate resources and ensure project governance.

Engage with stakeholders and resolve issues.

Capture lessons learned and maintain effective team relationships.

Required Skills & Experience:

Extensive experience in delivering highway schemes, S278 works, and traffic management.

Professional qualification in Project Management (APM PMQ, PMP).

Experience with NEC contracts and CDM regulations.

Strong project management skills, including risk, cost, and schedule control.

Experience in regulated environments (e.g., Highways England or local authority).
