Genomics England partners with the NHS to provide whole genome sequencing diagnostics. We also equip researchers to find the causes of disease and develop new treatments – with patients and participants at the heart of it all.

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to manage in-house recruitment activities, supporting hiring needs across multiple Directorates. This role requires an individual who can execute a recruitment strategy, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver quality hires in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs, building and nurturing relationships
Manage a pipeline of vacant roles, sourcing and delivering shortlisted candidates within budget and agreed timelines.
Attract and secure diverse talent through tailored recruitment strategies including utilising our applicant tracking system effectively.
Ensure a seamless and positive candidate and hiring manager experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to offer negotiation.
Occasionally, where needed, partner with recruitment agencies to enhance recruitment efforts.
Conduct thorough candidate assessments, including screening calls and arranging skills assessments. Then joining hiring managers and interviewers on technical and competency-based interviews and facilitating decision making to ensure the best fit for each role.
Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on recruitment progress, key metrics, and market insights that can inform strategic decision-making.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition to continuously improve recruitment processes and outcomes.
Contribute to the development and implementation of employer branding initiatives to enhance Genomics England as an employer of choice.
Collaborate with the broader People Team to ensure smooth handover to the onboarding stage for new hires.
Manage candidate communication and feedback process at an optimum level, ensuring constructive feedback is provided to successful and unsuccessful candidates to maintain positive relationships.
Qualifications
Whilst we respect relevant qualifications, we are mostly interested in your experience. We are seeking candidates with:
A service-driven mindset with a passion for talent acquisition.
A proven track record in technology and bioinformatics recruitment.
Experience in a combination of agency/RPO and in-house recruitment.
The ability to work at pace whilst maintaining quality, including ensuring the best hiring manager and candidate experience.
Experience of recruiting in life sciences or biotech or related environments preferred.

Salary from: £51,000
