About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a major infrastructure project at Sizewell C, a key initiative in the UK's transition to Net Zero. This large-scale development will significantly contribute to the country's energy security and sustainability.
We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager with extensive highways experience to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure projects within a regulated environment. The role requires hands-on leadership, contract management expertise, and the ability to engage with multi-level stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
·Define project scope and manage key interfaces.
·Develop and maintain robust project schedules.
·Oversee budgets, ensuring cost control and financial reporting.
·Implement risk management strategies and mitigation plans.
·Work closely with stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
·Maintain governance processes, including project reviews and approvals.
·Identify and resolve project issues, escalating where necessary.
·Capture and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
Essential Skills & Experience
·Degree-qualified with a minimum of 3 years of major project experience.
·Extensive highways experience, including knowledge of DMRB, Chapter 8, S278 works, and S106 agreements.
·Experience working in a regulated highway environment (e.g., Local Authority, National Highways).
·Strong background in utility works coordination within the public highway.
·NEC and FIDIC contract experience.
·APM PMQ or other professional project management qualifications.
·Knowledge of CDM Regulations and experience managing construction health and safety.
·Excellent numeracy, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills.
·Working knowledge of French (advantageous but not essential).

·BPSS clearance required (or willingness to obtain).
