Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant - Barry

Location: Barry, Vale of Glamorgan

Job Type: Full-time / Mon - Fri / 8:30am - 3:30pm

Are you a fluent Welsh speaker with a passion for education? We are looking for a dedicated Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic Primary school in the Barry area.

About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

✅ Support the class teacher with day-to-day activities

✅ Work with small groups of pupils to support learning and engagement

✅ Assist in delivering activities in line with the curriculum

✅ Provide a positive and nurturing learning environment

✅ Help with classroom management and student development

Requirements:

✔️ Fluent Welsh speaker (essential)

✔️ Experience working in a Primary or Secondary School setting (preferred)

✔️ A DBS check and EWC registration (we can assist with this)

✔️ Enthusiastic, patient, and committed to supporting children's learning
