Locum Social Worker – Private Hospital (Substance Misuse) – Bromley

Location: Bromley

Pay Rate: £40 - £45 per hour (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Locum, Full-Time

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking a dedicated Locum Social Worker to join a private hospital in Bromley, specialising in the treatment of patients with substance misuse challenges. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to provide vital support and interventions to individuals on their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop personalised care plans

Provide therapeutic support and interventions for patients with substance misuse issues

Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including medical and psychological professionals

Safeguarding, risk assessment, and care coordination

Liaise with external agencies, families, and community services to support patient reintegration

Requirements:

✔️ Qualified Social Worker with current SWE registration

✔️ Previous experience in substance misuse, mental health, or hospital settings

✔️ Strong safeguarding and risk assessment skills

✔️ Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

✔️ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
