Salary: £20.00 - £24.00 per hour

We are working directly with a local council who are looking to recruit a Multi Trade Operative to deliver a responsive repair service with a commitment to providing a high quality efficient and resident focused facility across the London Borough of Enfield.

Responsibilities:

Completing a wide variety of carpentry repairs and maintenance to occupied council owned properties.

uPVC window and door repairs or replacements

Repairing or replacing skirting boards, floorboards, window frames, doors, door linings, door handles and locks, cabinet handles, stairway railings, etc.

Diagnosing and valuing, via a schedule of rates (SORs), any further repairs to be raised to term contractors whilst being aware of budget limitations and implications.Requirements:

Full UK Driving Licence (manual)

City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry & Joinery (essential)

Asbestos Awareness (desirable)

Enhanced Criminal Record Check (Disclosure and Barring Service)Benefits:
