Job Advert: Carpenter Multi-Trader - Camden Council

We are looking for an experienced Carpenter Multi-Trader to join our team, carrying out building repairs, maintenance, and renewals across multiple sites. The role involves both reactive and planned works on occupied and void housing properties, ensuring all tasks meet current standards and regulations.

Job Details:

📍 Location: Holmes Road Depot, 78 Holmes Road, London, NW5 3AP

📅 Contract Duration: Immediate start available

💰 Pay Rate: £26.17 per hour (umbrella)

⏰ Working Hours:

Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 18:00

Saturday: 08:00 - 13:00 (as required)

Key Responsibilities:

✔️ Carry out emergency and routine reactive repairs across multiple sites daily

✔️ Undertake programmed repairs and refurbishment work on a single site when required

✔️ Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction

✔️ Ensure all work is completed Right First Time

✔️ Work flexibly to support service delivery, including potential changes to working times/patterns

Requirements:

🔹 Proven experience as a Carpenter Multi-Trader

🔹 Strong background in building maintenance and repairs

🔹 Ability to work independently and efficiently across multiple sites

🔹 Excellent knowledge of current trade standards and regulations

🔹 Must be available to work flexibly within the stated hours
