Teaching Assistant - Pupil Referral Unit

£90 - £100 Per day

Value Education is seeking a confident Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Pupil Referral Unit in Bury. In this role, you will work closely with young adults and help guide them back into a mainstream educational setting.

Job Duties:

Support teachers in delivering tailored educational programmes for students at a Pupil Referral Unit.

Assist with implementing individual education plans and behaviour management strategies.

Provide one-to-one support to students with learning difficulties or challenging behaviour.

Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Collaborate with teachers and staff members to effectively address students' needs.

Requirements:

Experience working in a Pupil Referral Unit or similar educational setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.

This role will be starting immediately on a temporary to permanent basis
