Job Title: Supply Teacher

Location: Wickford, Essex

Start Date: Immediate Start

Salary: £120 to £160

Are you a dedicated and adaptable teacher with a passion for helping students achieve their best?

We are seeking a flexible Supply Teacher to join a warm and supportive school in Wickford. This role involves covering all primary year groups (EYFS to Year 6) for 3 days a week, filling in for teachers during their absence and providing support during PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) time.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging lessons across all primary year groups, following the school’s curriculum

Ensure smooth classroom management and provide a positive learning environment for all students

Support students' learning and development during the absence of regular teachers

Follow lesson plans and adjust teaching methods to suit the needs of the class

Collaborate with staff to ensure continuity of student learning and wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

Experience teaching in primary schools, particularly in a flexible or supply role (desirable)

A strong understanding of the primary curriculum

Excellent classroom management and communication skills

The ability to be flexible and adaptable across different year groups and teaching situations

A positive and proactive attitude to teaching and student engagement
