Are you an organised and proactive Department Co-ordinator looking to make an impact in the social housing sector? This role offers the chance to support key operational functions and ensure the smooth running of housing services.
Role Details
Job Type: Temporary Contract
Location: London Hybrid working
Pay Rate: Hourly rate £28-30
Duration: 3 months, with potential for extension
Start Date: Immediate or as agreed.
Key Responsibilities
As a Department Co-ordinator, you will:
Provide administrative and operational support to the housing team, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations.
Manage schedules, meetings, and correspondence, supporting senior managers and team members.
Maintain and update departmental records, reports, and databases with high accuracy.
Assist in budget tracking, invoicing, and procurement processes where required.
Support the team in delivering housing projects, compliance reporting, and service improvements.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
Requirements
Experience: Previous experience in an administrative, co-ordinator, or team support role, ideally within social housing or a related public sector organisation.
Skills: Strong organisational abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication.
IT Proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and housing management systems (e.g., Northgate, Civica, or similar).
Attributes: A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
