Job Title: Commissioning Manager / Testing & Balancing Engineer

Location: Hamburg (Germany)

Salary: £550 per day.

Duration: 8 weeks

Division: HVAC

We have exciting opportunity for an experienced Commissioning Manager for a market leading fit out contractor on a new build shopping centre in Hamburg (Germany)

Key Responsibilities:

Perform air balancing of HVAC systems specifically comfort cooling, heating and smoke extract systems inclusive of adjustment of fans, pumps, ductwork and dampers.• Measure airflow, pressure, and temperature to optimize system performance.

• Adjust dampers, valves, and controls to achieve balanced conditions as per design requirements.

• Conduct inspections and assessments to verify compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.

• Identify and resolve system inefficiencies, pressure imbalances, inadequate flows and volumes and performance issues.

• Collaborate with project teams to recommend and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications & Preferred Skills:

Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field (preferred).• Certification in Testing and Balancing (NEBB, AABC, or TABB) is a plus.

 • 2+ years of experience in HVAC testing, adjusting, and balancing.

• Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, blueprints, and equipment specifications.

• Hands-on experience with TAB instruments and equipment.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

 • Proficiency in written and spoken English and German
