Job Title: Contract Design Engineer

Contract Length: 3–6 months

Rate: £40 per hour (Outside IR35 if applicable)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team on a 3–6 month contract. This role is ideal for someone with expertise in CATIA V5, composite design, and bodywork, who thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

* Design and develop composite bodywork components using CATIA V5

* Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure manufacturability

* Work within tight deadlines to deliver high-quality designs

* Provide innovative solutions for lightweight and high-performance structures

Essential Experience

✔ CATIA V5 – Strong proficiency in 3D modelling & surface design

✔ Composite Design – Experience with carbon fibre, laminates, and lightweight materials

✔ Bodywork – Knowledge of exterior/interior trim, aerodynamics, and structural integrity
