Job Title: Setting Out Engineer

Location: Norwich

Salary: £220 - £310 per day (CIS), Depending on Experience

Contract Type: Contract

We are a leading highways specialist contractor focusing on drainage projects and highways improvement across the UK. Currently, we are seeking a skilled Setting Out Engineer to join our team on a major highways project in Norwich.

Project Details:

* Location: Long Stratton, Norwich

* Scope of Work: 4.2km dual carriageway, drainage installation, ground stabilisation, curb works.

* Duration: 5 months left, with scope of works to move to another project.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set out coordinates for drainage installation.

* Supervise drainage works and ensure compliance with Highways specifications.

* Maintain site records (ITP, permits to dig, asphalt).

* Collaborate with main contractor and manage Health & Safety standards.

Essential Requirements:

* Proven experience in highways and drainage projects.

* Experience self-delivering on these projects, i.e sub-contracting background

* Knowledge of Highways specifications and drainage systems (filter drains, gulley connections).

* Experience setting out works.

* Tickets Required: CSCS Card, Highways Passport which is Essential

* Local to Norwich or willing to arrange own accommodation.

* Must have supervisory or charge-hand experience.

Remuneration:

* Day Rate: £220 - £310 (CIS). – Depending on Experience

Working Schedule:

* 5 days per week, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM.
