Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality French lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

Foster a positive and engaging learning environment

Create differentiated lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners

Support and challenge students to achieve their full potential in French

Participate in extracurricular activities related to the French department

Contribute to the development of the French curriculum

Maintain a commitment to continuous professional development

Essential Criteria:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching French in a secondary school setting (or completion of a teaching placement if an NQT)

A passion for languages and education

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to create engaging and inclusive lessons

Strong organizational and time management skills

Desirable Criteria:

Knowledge of teaching strategies for diverse learners

Experience using ICT to enhance language learning
