Job Title: Valuation Surveyor

Location: Kent

Rate: £450 per day

Job Description:

A local authority in Kent is seeking an experienced Valuation Surveyor to join their team on a 3-month contract. The role involves providing professional asset valuation services, assisting with the assessment and valuation of a variety of properties within the authority's portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property valuation and public sector experience. The position requires working 3 days a week in the office, with the remaining time flexible for remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct asset valuations for a diverse range of property types

Provide accurate and reliable valuation advice

Support the management of property portfolios

Ensure compliance with relevant valuation standards and procedures

Liaise with internal stakeholders and external parties as necessaryQualifications/Experience:

MRICS (or equivalent) qualification preferred

Proven experience in asset/property valuation, particularly within local government or public sector

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
