Job Description

Our client, a renowned company in the water sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor (SQS) for a Water Treatment project. The role requires being on site with hybrid working from home where possible. This exciting contract role offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to engage in a high-profile project outside IR35 regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing all aspects of quantity surveying

Providing accurate and detailed cost management and reporting

Ensuring all commercial objectives are achieved across the project

Conducting cost value reconciliation and regular cost forecasting

Preparing and negotiating subcontract and supply chain management

Attending and contributing to project meetings, both on site and in Birmingham

Providing expertise in contract management and dispute resolution

Maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations

Job Requirements:

Extensive experience in quantity surveying, particularly within the water sector

Proficiency in cost management and reporting techniques

Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial practices

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Willingness to travel to the Birmingham as required

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
