Finance Business Partner

My client are a Local Authority in Wales who are looking to appoint a Finance Business on an Interim basis.

About the role:

Based in Central Wales (Hybrid):

Oversee and coordinate a team to deliver an efficient and effective financial management service to budget holders that enables the council to deliver its financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Administer the preparation and coordination of both revenue and capital budgets and maintain systems and procedures for the effective financial operation of the Council to facilitate accurate budgetary management and forecasting.
• Liaise with Budget holders and other stakeholders, offering financial information, advice, training and expertise to support them in managing their budgets
• Participate in the year-end process to ensure the closure of accounts are completed within agreed timescales.

About you:
You will have the following experiences:

• Full membership of CCAB body or currently at the final stages of training to gain the qualification
• Understand the mechanics and role of the Council and the wider public sector regime.
• Experience at a similar level.

What's on offer:

• Date Rate: 300 - 600 per day, inside IR35.
