Job Title: Assistant Financial Accountant
Location: Glascoed

Salary: £15.30
Length: Contract 12 months

Job Description:
• Completing account reconciliations, clearing balance sheet control accounts on a monthly basis, and maintaining appropriate documentation to support audits.
• Resolving reconciling items from your own and colleagues reconciliations in a timely manner and reporting discrepancies or potential fraud to senior management.
• Supporting data input on various accounting systems and contributing to the monthly close process.
• Preparing monthly journals, including the calculation of accruals, prepayments, and provisions.
• Monthly and yearly reporting in line with company deadlines, preparing financial statements that reflect the company s financial position, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.

Your Skills and Experiences:
Essential:
• Qualified or studying towards AAT or equivalent (ideally level 4 or working towards level 4, but level 3 qualified will be considered).
• Intermediate level Excel skills (e.g., Pivot tables, VLOOKUP).

Desirable:
• Finance experience.
• Knowledge of SAP, Sage, or Oracle.
