Finance Officer
Location: Tower Hamlets
Salary: £140 - £180 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Temporary until 11th April, part-time (2-3 days a week)

GSL Education London Branch is seeking a skilled Finance Officer to join a vibrant and comprehensive girls school in Tower Hamlets. As a Finance Officer, your duties will include:

• Managing day-to-day financial operations, including invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records.
• Supporting budget preparation and monitoring expenditure against set budgets.
• Processing payroll and liaising with staff regarding any payroll-related queries.
• Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
• Assisting with audits and reporting to senior leadership as required.

To be successful in this Finance Officer role, you should have:

• Proven experience working in a finance-related position, ideally within the education sector.
• A good understanding of accounting software and financial processes.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
