Project Manager - EPC UK Grid

• Location: North East, United Kingdom - hybrid working available
• Start date: ASAP / Feb 2025
• 500 - 600 per day, outside IR35.
• Hybrid working, 2 days working from home

• To lead, coordinate and oversee the successful delivery of protection and control equipment on sites - from point of order right through to installation and handover
• Work with the manufacturing factory, engineering team and commercial teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, to quality & SHEQ standards and within budget.
• Liaise with customers to understand their requirements and manage their expectations.
• Manage and foster a strong relationship with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
• Identify and resolve any project issues that may arise.
• Prepare and submit non-conformance reports.
• Work with the internal engineering team to assist with project processes and efficiency

Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar related field
• 3 + years Project Management within the UK renewable energy industry
• Experience working with DNOs and TSOs in the UK.
• Strong understanding of primary electrical equipment and systems used for transmission / distribution / power generation networks
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint.
• Project Management qualification (desirable but not essential).
