Locum Dispensary Pharmacist - NHS Hospital Hertfordshire

Location: NHS Hospital, Hertfordshire
Hourly Rate: £24 - £28 per hour
Contract: Ongoing (3/4/5 days per week available)

Hunter AHP are currently seeking an experienced Locum Dispensary Pharmacist to join a NHS hospital team in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a hospital setting while benefiting from flexible working hours and competitive pay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and provide advice on their use.
• Ensure the safe and effective delivery of pharmacy services.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care.
• Participate in stock management and ensure the pharmacy maintains a smooth workflow.
• Support the training of pharmacy staff and trainees as needed.

Key Requirements:

• GPhC registered Pharmacist.
• Previous experience working in a dispensary setting (NHS experience preferred, but not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to commit to at least 3 days per week (with availability for 4 or 5 days considered).
