Job Description

Location: West Bromwich
Pay Rate: 15.50 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm (Overtime available)
Type: Temp to Perm

As a Roller/Setter, you will be responsible for setting and operating the rolling mill to roll various steel sections. Your key duties will include:

• Setting and running the cold rolling mill.
• Rolling steel sections.
• Loading and unloading steel.
• Banding the processed steel.

• Cold Rolling Mill Operation: Efficiently set up and operate the cold rolling mill to ensure smooth and accurate rolling of steel sections.
• Steel Rolling: Perform rolling operations to produce steel sections as per specifications.
• Material Handling: Load and unload steel materials safely and efficiently.
• Banding: Band processed steel to prepare for storage or shipment.

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good physical stamina and ability to handle heavy materials.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
