Job Title: HGV Driver - Class 1 & 2

Location: Birmingham Rd, West Bromwich B71 4JH

Pay Rates:

• Weekday rate: 17.00 per hour
• Weekday overtime: 20.00 per hour
• Saturday rate: 20.00 per hour
• Sunday rate: 22.00 per hour

Job Description:

• Multi-drop deliveries (10-15 drops per shift) to shops and bakeries.
• Drivers are responsible for unloading roll cages themselves (not heavy lifting required).
• Average shift length: 8-9 hours (minimum of 9.5 hours paid per shift).
• Including Class 2 driving
• Paid breaks.

Shift Pattern:

• Shifts available Wednesday to Sunday.
• Start times between 12:00 AM - 2:30 AM.

Requirements:

• Valid HGV Driver licence 1 (C+E)
• Minimum of 12 months of relevant driving experience.
• No more than 6 points on the licence (no major offences).

Assessment & Induction:

• Assessment starts around 6:00 AM and includes 45 minutes of driving.
• A theory test (minimum pass mark: 12/15).
• Induction follows immediately (approx. 5 hours).
• Assessment and induction are paid if the driver starts work within the same week.
