Supply Teaching Assistant
Location: York, North Yorkshire
Salary: £83 £100 per day
Start Date: Ongoing/Flexible

Teaching Assistant Role Overview:

• Provide classroom support to teachers, helping to create an engaging learning environment.
• Support students with additional needs on a one-to-one basis or in small groups to help them reach their full potential.
• Assist with lesson activities, behaviour management, and provide social, emotional and academic support.
• Work flexibly across different schools, gaining valuable experience in a variety of settings.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children.
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to supporting students.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
