Primary Teaching Assistant (TA)
Location: Hull
Salary: £84 - £96 per day (Depending on experience)
Start time: After February Half-Term
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Responsibilities of the Primary Teaching Assistant (TA)

• Provide 1:1 and small group support across all key stages.
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment.
• Support students with differentiated learning needs.
• Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage student participation.
• Assist with general classroom duties, including preparing learning materials.

Requirements of the Primary Teaching Assistant (TA)

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or in a similar role (preferred).
• A proactive and patient approach to supporting children.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A genuine passion for education and child development.
• Ability to adapt and work flexibly across different year groups.
• Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Updated Service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
