The London Borough of Harrow is currently seeking a skilled Transport Planner on a contract basis within the HTP sector. This role involves significant focus on development control and planning obligations, contributing to the strategic planning and transport management within the borough.

• Developing and implementing transportation plans to support the borough's growth and development strategies
• Reviewing and assessing planning applications with a focus on transportation impacts
• Managing and delivering planning obligations related to transportation
• Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the successful integration of transportation initiatives
• Conducting transport assessments and providing expert recommendations
• Ensuring compliance with relevant transport planning policies and regulations
• Preparing and presenting technical reports to various committees and stakeholders

• Experience in transport planning and development control
• Strong understanding of planning obligations related to transportation
• Ability to analyse and interpret transportation data and policies
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related field
