Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical team in M&E services, ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a solid understanding of electrical schematics, logic controllers, and project management. This role requires a proactive approach to supervising staff while maintaining high safety standards and operational efficiency.

Duties

• Supervise and manage a team of electricians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Interpret and work from electrical schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Coordinate projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
• Provide guidance and training to team members on technical skills and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations across the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues before they arise.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the electrical field.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, logic controllers, and mechanical principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics accurately.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
• Proficient in project management techniques with a focus on timely delivery and quality outcomes.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for all staff members.

Qualifications

• SSSTS or SMSTS
• Electrical Gold card
• CSCS Black card (Preferred, not a must)
• Electrical testing 2391 or Equivalent
