Job Summary: Our client a contractor is seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener to join their team, responsible for maintaining and enhancing the green spaces across their various contracts. Their ideal candidate will have the right gardening experience and a keen eye for fine detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Weeding: Removing weeds from flower beds, pathways, and other areas to maintain a tidy appearance.
• Strimming: Using strimmers to trim grass and vegetation in hard-to-reach areas.
• Hedge Cutting: Pruning and cutting hedges to maintain their shape and health.
• Plant Care: Planting, watering, and caring for flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Waste Management: Collecting and disposing of garden waste in an environmentally friendly manner.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensuring all gardening tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Health and Safety: Adhering to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in gardening or grounds maintenance.
• Knowledge of plants, gardening techniques, and equipment.
• Ability to operate gardening tools and machinery safely.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact positively with residents and colleagues.
