Are you a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting new opportunity? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a committed Year 6 Teaching Assistant to support SATs boosters and interventions at a welcoming primary school in Islington. This full-time role is set to start from February Half Term and offers an excellent opportunity to make a real impact on pupils' academic progress.

The Role:

• Provide targeted support to Year 6 students in preparation for their SATs exams.
• Deliver small group interventions and one-to-one support in core subjects such as Maths and English.
• Work closely with the class teacher to identify students who require additional assistance.
• Help to implement engaging and effective learning strategies to boost confidence and attainment.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience working in KS2, particularly Year 6, is essential.
• A strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum, with a focus on SATs preparation.
• Ability to differentiate learning activities to meet the diverse needs of students.
• A patient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting children's learning.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable.
