Job Opportunity: Physical Education (PE) Teacher

Role: Physical Education (PE) Teacher - Stoke-on-Trent

As a PE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering exciting and engaging lessons that promote physical fitness, teamwork, and well-being. You will encourage students to develop their sporting skills and foster a lifelong love of physical activity. This is an opportunity to inspire students across various key stages and make a significant impact on their physical development and self-confidence.

The ideal candidate for the PE Teacher role will have a strong background in physical education and a passion for sports and fitness. Key Responsibilities of the PE Teacher:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging PE lessons to students at various levels.
• Develop and implement creative and effective teaching materials for PE students.
• Promote the importance of physical activity, fitness, and healthy lifestyles.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and encouragement.
• Organise and participate in extracurricular sporting activities and competitions.
• Contribute to the planning and development of the school's PE curriculum.
• Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment for all students.
• Work closely with colleagues to deliver cross-curricular opportunities related to physical education.
• Ensure that all students are motivated, engaged, and participating in PE lessons and activities.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Physical Education and sports coaching.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for physical activity and a commitment to student success.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience teaching PE in secondary education is desirable but not essential.
