Job Description

We are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant role to work in the Walsall area in a 1-form entry GOOD OFSTED rated Primary School. This SEND Teaching Assistant's role is to work on a 1:1 basis with a child in a mixed year group in year 1 / 2.

Our client is looking for a candidate with experience with non-verbal, Autism and ADHD and any additional qualifications around SEND is desirable.

This role is to start ASAP and continue to July 2025 full-time (8:30-15:30).

Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role

• Hold a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
• Good knowledge and experience of working with SEND
• Experience working in Nurseries or Primary Schools as a Teaching Assistant or LSA
• A DBS on the update service or issued in the last 12 months
• A minimum of 2 excellent references
