TeacherActive is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Teacher to join a fantastic specialist school in Doncaster. This school supports young people aged 8-19 with special educational needs, offering a range of outstanding facilities, including a sports hall, fitness suite, hydrotherapy pool, sensory room, and horticultural space.

We are looking for someone who is committed to boosting students' self-esteem and helping them gain independence, all within a nurturing, purpose-driven environment.

What you'll be doing:
As a SEND Teacher, you will:

• Work closely with students in a 1:1 setting, providing tailored support.
• Assist in creating an engaging, calm, and productive classroom environment.
• Work with students with autism, learning difficulties, and complex needs.
• Develop creative lessons that inspire and empower students.
• Collaborate with an experienced team to ensure the best learning outcomes.

This role offers great flexibility with the option to work full-time, part-time, day-to-day, or on short-term/long-term placements. Every day is a chance to make a difference while gaining valuable experience in a specialized field.

What we are looking for:
The ideal candidate should have:

• QTS, PGCE, Cert Ed, or other relevant teaching qualifications.
• Experience working with students with Autism, Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviour.
• A practical, creative approach to engaging pupils with diverse needs.
• The ability to build strong relationships with both staff and students.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
