Academics are looking for a Teaching assistant for a part time role in a welcoming school in Newport. We are looking for both experienced Teaching Assistants and anyone looking to kick start their career in education.

Key responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant.

• Supporting the class teacher with daily activities and lesson and material preparation.
• Assisting with basic literacy and numeracy tasks for small groups of students.
• Providing 1:1 support for students who need extra assistance.

What we need from you

• An enhanced DBS check (essential) which is subscribed to the DBS update service
• Registration with the EWC (Education Workforce Council).
• Two recent and professional references
• Experience working as a teaching assistant or in a school setting (desirable).
