The Nursery
A warm and inclusive nursery that provides high-quality care and education for young children, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. With a dedicated team of staff and excellent facilities, the nursery ensures tailored support for each child's unique developmental journey. This nursery is designed so children can flow throughout all the learning spaces and mix with various age groups.

The Role
We are seeking Level 2/3 nursery practitioners with prior experience working in nursery settings. In this role, you will work closely with the wider team to provide personal care and learning opportunities. You will foster each child's development, manage sensory and emotional needs, and create a safe, inclusive environment.

Main Responsibilities

• Support young children to achieve developmental milestones.
• Deliver engaging activities tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate with the wider team as well as parents/carers to ensure consistency in care and learning.
• Assist with sensory and emotional regulation strategies.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment.
• Keep accurate records of children's progress and share insights with the team.

Essential Criteria

• Relevant childcare qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 in Early Years Education or equivalent).
• Experience working in nursery settings.
• Strong understanding of child development and sensory needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A nurturing, patient, and flexible approach.

Desirable Criteria

• Additional training in SEND/SEMH
• Knowledge of alternative communication strategies.
• Access to own transportation
