Business and Economics Teacher

An outstanding secondary school based in Southall, Ealing are looking for a Business and Economics Teacher.

School are looking for someone to start on a long term contract until July 2025.

This position is full time but school are open to part time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

Salary will match inner London MPS/UPS.

School has available parking spaces.

Business and Economics Teacher :

Provide robust expertise in both business and economics, utilizing a deep understanding of the subject matter and effective teaching strategies.

Contribute to students' understanding and growth by guiding them in the exploration of economic concepts, business principles, and their real-world applications.

Facilitate the development of lifelong learning skills, helping students apply theoretical knowledge to practical, everyday scenarios and fostering critical thinking abilities.

Play a key role in fostering a positive and safe classroom environment, where students feel encouraged and challenged to reach their full potential, both academically and personally.

Embrace and support the ethos of the school, whether for boarding or day students, ensuring that all individuals feel part of a cohesive and dynamic learning community.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

A relevant degree

Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
