About the Role:

Fawkes and Reece are proud to be working with a leading national contractor to recruit a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager for an exciting construction project based in Maidstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional looking to make a significant impact on site safety and compliance.

Responsibilities for a Health & Safety Manager

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide training and support to site staff on health and safety matters.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all documentation is up to date.

Requirements for a Health & Safety Manager

• Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant health and safety qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
